Further to the statement of the President of the Circuit Court Published and due to the current provisions of the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A -Temporary Restrictions) (Covid-19) Regulations 2020 and in anticipation of easing of Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions, Family Law Case Progression hearings before the County Registrar will be listed for hearing on Thursdays and some Wednesdays during the Easter and Trinity Term 2021 in Court 35, First Floor, Aras Ui Dhalaigh, Inns Quay, Dublin 7, in staggered lists which will be published in the legal diary.
Once the adjourned case progression hearings are relisted, summons for Case Progression hearings for new matters will be listed in early course.
Arrangements are in place to ensure compliance with HSE distancing requirements and your cooperation is appreciated and expected. To comply with social distancing requirements staggered times have been allocated for practitioners to attend Court for the hearing of these motions. You must only attend Court at your scheduled time. The hearing will take place in accordance with public health and the Courts Service guidelines.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING FOR FAMILY LAW CASE PROGRESSION
- Attend Court at the appointed/designated time only. There are no waiting facilities.
- Only one representative for each party to attend court as is envisaged by the Circuit Court Rules, (unless directions are made otherwise).
- The parties must leave Court and remove all belongings at the expiry of the allotted time.
- All affidavits and exhibits AND all documents to be relied upon at the hearing must be exchanged between the parties and filed where required by the Circuit Court Rules. An indexed and paginated book of such documents for the Court must be lodged in the Circuit Court Family Law Office drop box NOT LATER THAN 5 WORKING DAYSs prior to the hearing. Documents will not be accepted in Court. When filing documents for upcoming court attendance ensure the Court Office is notified of the correct record number, date and time of hearing of the matter.
- Where the Respondent to an adjourned hearing is a litigant in person, the moving party must inform the litigant in person, in writing of the hearing date and time.
- Attached is a copy of the Attendance Sheet required by Order 59. The moving party must provide the same to the Court in hard copy fully completed and legible at the case progression hearing.
